Few things in Yucaipa draw more attention than a BIG new restaurant, and so it has been with the Grand Opening of the “Big Cheese Pizza Company.” By Yucaipa standards the “Big Cheese Pizza Company” is huge, and so was the buzz I kept hearing about “it’s opening”… it seeming took them forever to finish building out the completely new restaurant which is located in the “Old Vons” Shopping Center on Yucaipa Blvd. .....
As restaurants go, the “Big Cheese Pizza Company” is clearly a formulaic venue of which follows a very tried and proven business plan. If I had to summarize that plan it would be to try to appeal to as broad a range of ages as possible without so narrowly targeting any particular age group as to limit the restaurant’s natural business draw. The goal clearly is to draw kids of all ages who enjoy arcade type games… and the “Big Cheese Pizza Company” offers loads of games, flashing lights, sounds, prizes ect… and even bumper cars!

Greetings Ed Wright, We should have read your review a bit better before we tried the “Big Cheese Pizza Company.” Not only is this place to loud to hear anything but the screaming kids in, but the tables were dirty and the pizza has more crust than toppings on it. The joke is on us! We read your review and drove to the “Big Cheese Pizza Company” simply because our kids wanted to try out the game area, which they loved!
We stopped on the way home at your recommended “AJ Barile’s Chicago Beef & Pizza Co” only to find their line out the door, so we ordered pizza to go. The Wright Gourmet is Right; “AJ Barile’s Chicago Beef & Pizza Co.” makes the best pizza we have had. Thank You for the recommendation Ed.

Hello everyone, forgive me if I do this comment thing wrong, this is my first time posting a comment online like this. It would seem that some of those reviewing the “Big Cheese Pizza Company” have missed the point with your comments.
It is not about the pizza as much as it is the overall "everything" as a whole. It is about being able to sit down and enjoy an ice cold beer and let the kids go off and play. We are not all food critics and do not care that the pizza is not "Gourmet," but than the one pizza place everyone seems to like here does not serve beer or have games (we walked out); so it is a balance of the sports bar atmosphere blended with fun for the whole family that brings us back to the “Big Cheese Pizza Company” and the food quality works for us.
Where is a "Shakeys" in Yucaipa when you want one? “Big Cheese Pizza Company” is sort of the same thing, and almost as good.
The crowds can not be all wrong, can they? Yes, we might all be Red Necks because we confuse frozen pizza taste with gourmet takeout, but this is Yucaipa and we are not all a bunch of food snobs.

The food is amazing and they have one of a kind subs that will have you coming back for more. The game room is very clean, and the atmosphere of the employees makes the experience very enjoyable.
